Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a Client Relations Manager to join our growing Business Development team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, positive, and experienced in all aspects of the sales process, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys building strong relationships with executive-level contacts and introducing clients to solutions that support their business needs.
This position comes with a generous commission structure without a cap. Salary will be based on experience.
Key Responsibility (Performance Objective):
Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives that drive revenue growth, expand the client base, and secure new project opportunities. The Client Relations Manager is responsible for generating new business, strengthening client relationships, supporting client retention, and ensuring a positive client experience throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Source, qualify, and engage new business opportunities with prospective new clients.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to support pipeline growth and overall business development objectives.
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity to identify new opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by acting as the primary contact for key accounts, resolving issues, and supporting long-term partnership growth.
- Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions that align with their project requirements.
- Monitor client satisfaction through post-project reviews and regular check-ins, and report key insights to the executive team.
- Work with the Business Development and Pre-Construction teams to present WDI Group’s capabilities and secure new contracts.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support throughout the client relationship.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management in the CRM system.
- Access and utilize the ERP project management system as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in business development, preferably within the architecture, design, or construction industry.
- Ability to engage with senior leadership and C-level executives, articulating business opportunities and presenting tailored solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of the architecture and design industry, with a clear understanding of market trends and client needs.
- Strong understanding of office interior fit-up projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in making high-level presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with business development tools, CRM software, and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom), and other sales productivity tools.
- A strong network of contacts within the Greater Toronto Area is an asset.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence.
Pay: $110,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
