>>About Borevia Civil Infrastructure Group
Borevia Civil Infrastructure Group is a fast-growing municipal sewer services division backed by an established Hamilton–Niagara construction company. 9 field staff + GM + admin support. We deliver specialized underground infrastructure services including CCTV inspection, sewer flushing/cleaning, acceptance testing, and trenchless rehabilitation (CIPP/UV).
We’re a hands-on, field-driven operation—responsiveness, quality execution, and accountability matter.
>>The role (what you’ll do)
You’ll manage projects end-to-end—from handoff to planning, field execution, documentation, billing, and closeout. You’ll be the link between municipal clients/consultants, field crews, admin, and senior management.
This is not desk-only: you’ll visit sites regularly and remove obstacles early so crews stay productive and jobs stay on track. Occasional travel will be required.
>>Key responsibilities
- Run weekly scheduling and a 4–8 week forecast
- Coordinate crews, equipment, subcontractors, traffic control, access, locates, permits
- Manage day-to-day client communication and project updates
- Track quantities, labour/equipment, scope changes, and change opportunities
- Ensure field documentation is complete (reports, CCTV, test results) and supports billing
- Work with admin to issue accurate invoices quickly and close out jobs cleanly
- Escalate major safety/contract/financial issues to the General Manager
>>What we’re looking for
- 3+ years in project management/coordinator/construction management (civil/underground preferred; 5+ preferred)
- Experience coordinating field crews + specialized equipment + changing schedules
- Comfort with progress billing, quantity tracking, and forecasting
- Able to read contracts/specs/drawings and communicate clearly with both crews and municipal stakeholders
- Strong Excel/Outlook skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence + travel across Hamilton/Niagara area
- Education (preferred): Degree in Civil/Environmental/Construction Engineering (or related)
- Also considered: Civil/Construction Engineering Technology diploma
- Equivalent experience: Relevant municipal/underground/sewer services experience considered in place of formal education
Assets (not required): CCTV/PACP, acceptance testing, trenchless rehab exposure, C.E.T./EIT/P.Eng./PMP, confined space/traffic control familiarity.
