BOCADO RESTAURANT PEC is currently hiring EVENT SERVERS to join our Service team!
BOCADO RESTAURANT is a exciting restaurant concept located Picton PEC, BOCADO is a true expression of the Mediterranean, and Spanish cuisine through its colourful menu and thoughtful décor.
The service team is responsible for providing beautiful experiences for our guests through friendly, knowledgeable service and strong work ethic.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for reliable, professional servers to join our seasonal events team from May through September. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable in high-energy events, enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in delivering excellent service.
Our ideal candidates are adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a calm, positive presence throughout long event days. They are comfortable following direction while also thinking on their feet when needed in a fast-paced event environment.
You’ll have the opportunity to work at beautiful wedding venues across Prince Edward County as part of a catering team delivering thoughtful, high-quality service.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Food and beverage service (passed canapes, table service, bartending when necessary)
- Event setup and teardown
- Maintaining a clean and organized service environment
- Clear dishware and resetting tables
- Providing exceptional guest service
- Supporting the event lead and kitchen team throughout service
- Other duties as assigned
Position Details
- Seasonal: May through September (with potential into October)
- Primarily weekends (with occasional weekday events)
- Shift length: Typically 4 - 8+ hours
- Location: Various venues throughout Prince Edward County
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented
- Able to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation is required (venues are rural and not centrally located)
