Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks and ingredient organization
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning as needed
- Help with food plating and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow food safety guidelines at all times to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene
- Restock supplies and assist in inventory management as required
- Support serving staff during meal service periods to enhance customer experience
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness
