Job Summary
I am a solo practitioner looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join my small, tight knit dental team. My office enjoys a very low turnover of both staff and patients. The office is non-corporate, so no quotas and no need to sell dentistry. Treatment is based solely on what's best for the patient.
As the office is located on the second floor of the Kilborn Medical Centre, it has very little street presence. New patients find us by word of mouth or Google reviews.
The hours are Wednesday and Thursdays 8:00am - 4:00pm. No evenings or weekends and very rarely Fridays.
Hourly wages are based on years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, radiographs, periodontal charting, and sterilization for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Not required to sell dentistry.
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
- New graduates welcome.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and longterm relationships with patients.
