Meet Novus Automotive: In 2024, we launched a forward-thinking dealership brand that encompasses six dealerships across the Durham Region, including Clarington Kia. We are Novus Automotive, dedicated to reshaping the relationship between dealerships and drivers by crafting seamless experiences that bring peace of mind to the road.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a part-time Parts Driver to help ensure smooth parts pick-up and delivery processes and maintain a high standard of customer service. With a focus on maintaining the dealership’s incoming and outgoing stock, the Parts Driver at Clarington Kia helps support overall parts operations.
What You'll Do:
- Provide a professional and courteous experience for all customers and internal staff, ensuring positive interactions.
- Accurately prepare and manage parts for shipment, delivery, or pick-up from other suppliers in an organized manner.
- Confirm any backordered parts from each day’s delivery
- Assist with invoicing wholesale orders and provide completed documentation to the Parts Manager in a timely manner.
- Oversee the upkeep of the parts delivery vehicle, including fuel management, cleaning, and arranging for maintenance or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and stockroom, supporting overall dealership cleanliness standards.
- Assist in maintaining parts inventory, including inventory counts, shelving stock orders, and updating software system with new bin locations as necessary.
- Support the team by performing other tasks as requested by management, including assisting with parts duties and shipping/receiving duties.
What You Bring:
- Valid Ontario Class ‘G' Driver’s License and a clean Driver's Abstract
- Motivated to working efficiently with minimal supervision
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
- Basic knowledge of car parts and their functions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
