Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator) to join our team. As an RECE, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our kindergarten program. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in the kindergarten program
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Collaborate with other educators to create engaging lesson plans
- Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Provide support and guidance to children with their homework assignments
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Ability to write reports and document observations accurately
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
-Registration in good sanding with the College of Early Childhood Educators
-Standard first aid and CPR C
-Vulnerable Sector Check
-Minimum 2 years experience in a licensed child care setting
