Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, and experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. This role offers an opportunity to engage with diverse guests, showcase bartending skills, and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling protocols.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Take orders accurately using POS systems like Micros POS, ensuring efficient service
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision and accountability
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Engage with customers to provide excellent hospitality, answer questions about drinks, and recommend menu items
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with legal requirements
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate serving food and beverages seamlessly during busy hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following all legal regulations and company policies
- Hospitality mindset with a friendly demeanor and team-oriented attitude
- Must be at least 21 years old (or age applicable by local laws) to serve alcohol
