Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Ensure all customers are greeted with prompt and courteous service.
· Sell parts over the counter to customers as well as Service and Sales Departments.
· Answer phone, direct calls or take messages in a prompt courteous manner.
· Handle telephone and in-person parts orders.
· Open courier packages for parts department, confirm numbers, enter into inventory system and contact customer or service department.
· Contact customers when special orders are received.
· Ensures back ordered parts are monitored and keeps customer informed.
· Promote additional parts sales by suggesting related items, seasonal products, etc.
· Communicate with supplier sales representatives by email, on phone and on dealership visits.
· Maintain current parts displays and keep showroom updated frequently.
· Works with the Sales & Service Managers to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs, which includes monitoring back-order status.
· Ensure technicians and staff are adequately supplied with all parts, lubricants and materials as needed and all parts taken are entered on work order or charged to appropriate department.
· Assist unloading parts and wholegoods freight shipments and stock shelves as required
· Conduct regular parts inventories to ensure accurate on-hand quantities.
· Makes certain that all returned or warranty parts are properly tagged so that the dealership recovers full credit from the manufacturer.
· Ensure you are ready for work 5-10 minutes prior to opening
· Uphold and demonstrate the corporate values and vision
· Be capable of working together will all other staff members.
· Be required to work some Saturdays. Schedule to be determined on a monthly basis.
