Gymnasium and Health Equipment Ltd. is seeking a welder/fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate has an excellent work ethic, a willingness to learn and previous MIG welding experience. The applicant must be CWB certified.
Gymnasium and Health Equipment Ltd. is a manufacturer of gymnasium equipment such as basketball backstops, divider curtains and accessories. The majority of our products are custom-made to suit the customer's facility. Each project is different and requires the right candidate to be able to follow fabrication drawings and instructions from the welding supervisor to complete each order correctly and on time. Our facility in Scarborough, ON features a fully equipped steel fabrication shop including a CNC ironworker, press brake, saws, drill press and welding stations with downdrafts and overhead ventilation.
The ideal candidate shall:
- Have previous MIG Steel and Mig Aluminum welding and fabrication experience
- Be able to interpret drawings and understand product assemblies
- Communicate and work together with the welding supervisor and shop manager
- Work efficiently and accurately to complete orders
- Able to lift up to 100 LBS
Experience:
- Welding: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Drivers license (preferred)
- CWB Certificate (required)

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
