Job Overview
We are hiring a part-time registered physiotherapist at the St. Thomas Wellness Centre located inside the YMCA of St. Thomas-Elgin. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care through assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation services. This role involves working closely with patients of all ages to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life.
Our multi-disciplinary clinic also offers chiropractic care, contemporary medical acupuncture, personal training, nutrition coaching and sports therapy. A successful candidate will enjoy a work environment that allows for flexible scheduling, a network of direct referrals, and collaboration with a registered kinesiologist to assist in supporting your caseload (if desired).
Our location offers a fully furnished and private clinic setting with full access to all exercise gym equipment and swimming pool - equipping you with everything needed to provide high quality physical rehabilitation services.
Our compensation model offers a competitive percentage of all physiotherapy sales and services.

Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to promote recovery and improve function.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, management techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles, medical terminology, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Compassionate approach with a commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
Pay: $56.00-$168.00 per hour
