Plumeria Child Care Services Inc. is a newly opening childcare centre in Listowel looking for caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Educators to join our growing team.
We are building a positive, supportive environment where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged to learn through play, and where staff feel valued and supported as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
- Support educators in the care and supervision of children
- Assist with daily routines, activities, and transitions
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Support classroom organization and set-up
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in a childcare or similar setting is an asset
- Early Childhood Education students or those working toward an ECE diploma are encouraged to apply
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-focused attitude
- A genuine passion for working with children
