Responsabilités
En tant que représentant(e) des ventes externes – tuyaux, vannes et raccords, vous serez responsable du développement des affaires et des relations clients sur votre territoire.
- Développer et maintenir les relations avec les clients existants

Profil recherché
- 3+ ans d’expérience en vente et/ou service à la clientèle, idéalement dans un environnement industriel
- Bilinguisme français/anglais requis
- Expérience avec les tuyaux, vannes, raccords ou produits de protection incendie, un atout important
- Solides aptitudes en développement des affaires, communication et négociation
- Bonne compréhension technique et aptitude mécanique
- Excellentes compétences organisationnelles
- Maîtrise de Word, Excel et Outlook
- Permis de conduire classe 5 avec dossier de conduite impeccable
- Disponibilité pour voyager sur le territoire, avec déplacements occasionnels à l’extérieur du Canada
- Formation collégiale en vente, marketing, administration, génie mécanique ou domaine connexe, un atout

What You'll Do
As an Outside Sales Representative in the Industrial and Distribution Industry for pipe, valve and fitting you'll be the face of the company in your territory. You'll work directly with customers, identify new business opportunities, and develop long-term partnerships.Your responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new customer accounts
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Make regular customer visits and industry calls
- Plan sales routes and customer visits to maximize territory growth
- Develop follow-up strategies for projects and ongoing opportunities
- Prepare quotes and coordinate customer service and order requirements
- Work closely with inside sales, credit, warehouse, and management teams to resolve customer issues
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and monitor sales performance
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and special sales functions
- Stay current on company products, applications, and industry developments
- Monitor customer creditworthiness and communicate concerns to the appropriate departments
- Prepare sales reports and other information as required
- Assist with order desk activities when needed
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines sales ability, technical aptitude, and strong relationship-building skills.
You bring:
- 3+ years of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in an industrial or related environment
- Bilingual in French/English is required.
- Experience with mechanical/industrial pipe, valves, fittings, or fire protection products is strongly preferred
- Proven business development and customer acquisition skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical products
- Ability to read blueprints is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications
- Good mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate technical product information clearly to customers
- French and English bilingual proficiency
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the territory, including occasional overnight travel and travel within and outside Canada
A College Diploma in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering Technology (CET), or a related discipline is an asset.
