Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily landscape construction, maintenance, and installation activities, ensuring timely completion of projects
- Lead and motivate a team of landscapers, providing clear instructions and support to maximize productivity and quality
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, mowing, planting, irrigation system installation and repair, and garden care
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies
- Assist with planning and executing landscaping designs, including plant selection, layout, and construction details
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to project specifications
- Manage equipment usage and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in landscape construction or maintenance roles with demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of horticulture principles including gardening techniques, plant care, and landscape design fundamentals
- Experience with irrigation systems installation, repair, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including pruning, fertilizing, pest control, and soil management
- Construction experience related to outdoor projects such as hardscaping or grading is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with clients or project managers
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety awareness
