Position Overview
We are looking for a driven, performance-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to help lead our sales team. In this role, you will support the Sales Manager in achieving aggressive sales targets for new and pre-owned vehicles while maintaining the high standards of customer service that define Brantford Kia. Assist the Sales Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the sales department
Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a team of sales consultants to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
Lead by example on the sales floor — closing deals, handling objections, and delivering memorable customer experiences
Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends; implement strategies to move vehicles and maximize profitability
Ensure every customer receives personalized recommendations, transparent financing options, and follow-up that builds long-term loyalty
Oversee compliance with all dealership, manufacturer (Kia Canada), and regulatory standards
Manage customer escalations and resolve issues quickly and professionally
Collaborate with the service, finance, and marketing teams to create seamless end-to-end customer journeys
Sell 10 vehicles a month
What You Bring to the Team
Minimum 3–5 years of automotive sales experience (previous management or assistant management experience strongly preferred)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building high-performing teams
Deep product knowledge (or quick ability to learn the full Kia lineup)
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong closing ability and customer-first mindset
Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS), CRM tools, and Microsoft Office
Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record

The compensation is salary plus bonus and is based on experience and talent. Minimum of $75,000 and unlimited upside.
