We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional food service and customer experiences. You will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring a smooth operation within the kitchen environment. We are looking to fill two part time positions.
First: Monday - Saturday, 11am - 2pm.
Second: Monday - Saturday, 4pm - 8pm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with food handling, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to inquiries
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Follow time management practices to maintain workflow efficiency
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is beneficial
