Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities through surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and responding promptly to security incidents. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or unauthorized access.
Duties
- Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) to observe activity and identify potential security threats.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Respond quickly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including coordinating with law enforcement if necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of security incidents, patrols, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Enforce company policies and security procedures to uphold safety standards.
- Conduct access control by verifying identification and managing entry points.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and security equipment is a plus.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize potential threats or suspicious activity.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and any required licensing or certification processes.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
