Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Concierge to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for staff, visitors, and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, experience in facilities maintenance, and a proactive approach to facility upkeep. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces across various areas of the facility
- Conduct commercial cleaning duties in restrooms, lobbies, and common areas to uphold cleanliness standards
- Assist with facilities maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, and reporting larger issues to management
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a professional environment
- Monitor supply levels and restock cleaning supplies as needed
- Greet visitors and provide concierge services by offering directions or assistance as required
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all cleaning and maintenance activities
- Support special event setups or breakdowns as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and basic maintenance tasks is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining efficiency and professionalism
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor to assist visitors and staff effectively
