Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FOH (Front of House) Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service experience, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, managing customer interactions, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, fostering a positive team environment.
- Oversee food preparation and serving processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling protocols.
- Conduct interviewing and onboarding of new team members, supporting team management and development.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an outstanding dining experience.
- Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in training staff on food industry best practices, hospitality standards, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
- Maintain inventory levels related to service supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Extensive food industry background including restaurant management, hospitality, or hotel experience.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, interviewing, and staff development.
- Background in serving or bartending is a plus; barista experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and hospitality operations is preferred.
