Prairie Co-op is hiring a Health & Safety Advisor based out of our Administration Office in Melville, SK. Travel will be required to all Prairie Co-op locations.

What you’ll do:
- Partner with HR to develop and enhance Health & Safety and Asset Protection policies, procedures, and manuals.
- Ensure company policies consistently meet and comply with all relevant local, provincial, and federal legal requirements.
- Lead and oversee the administration of the company’s Occupational Health & Safety program.
- Collaborate closely with the leaders to communicate, support, and execute all Health & Safety and Asset Protection objectives.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across the organization, ensuring strategic Health & Safety and Asset Protection initiatives are effectively integrated into both short and long‑term operational plans.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Health, Safety, Security & Environment and Susatainability and:
You have an Occupational Health & Safety Certificate.
- You have 3-6 years of relevant experience; retail experience would be an asset (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
- Any of the following designations are considered an asset:
- Loss Prevention Designation (CPP, CFI, CFE, LPQ, or LPC)
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)
- Certified Health & Safety Consultant (CHSC)
