We’re Hiring: Carpenter
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated carpenter to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role focused on cutting and assembling frames for custom furniture, working from drawings or photos to create accurate cut lists and deliver high-quality work.
This is a stable, long-term position. If you are looking for steady work and want to grow with a company over time, this could be a great fit.
You should be comfortable working independently, while also being a strong team player.
Being open to learning new technology and improving processes is important for success in this role.
What You’ll Do:
- Cut and assemble frames for custom furniture from start to finish
- Work from drawings, photos, or design ideas to create cut lists and build plans
- Build and finish components such as legs and frame bases
- Complete finishing work including sanding, staining, and painting
- Participate in site measures and installations
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Support a positive and team-focused work environment
- Opportunity to grow into a Team Lead role, helping guide and support others
What You Bring:
- Strong carpentry skills with experience in cutting, assembling, and finishing
- Experience with finishing work (sanding, staining, painting)
- High attention to detail — you take pride in your work and are very particular about quality
- Ability to read drawings or build from photos
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with little guidance
- Leadership skills are an asset
- Experience with AutoCAD, or willingness to learn
