Kot Auto Group is seeking a reliable and vigilant Overnight Security Guard to monitor and protect our dealership premises during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is proactive, observant, and capable of making sound decisions independently to ensure the safety and security of our property and vehicles.
Tasks:
- Ensure the safety and security of the dealership, building, and surrounding premises overnight
- Monitor surveillance equipment and respond promptly to any unusual or suspicious activity
- Conduct hourly inspections of the building and lot, and additional checks as necessary
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of nightly activities
- Perform other duties as required to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond calmly in urgent or confrontational situations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods during overnight shifts
- Solid work ethic, reliability, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Completion of High School or equivalent
- 6 months–1 year of security or patrol experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate
- Experience monitoring surveillance systems and patrolling premises
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- Possess a valid BC Security Guard License (BST License)
