Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumber Journeyman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all building codes and safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support installation processes.
- Utilize welding skills when necessary to join metal pipes or components securely.
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate work effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe work environment at all times.
Experience
- Valid 306A Journeyman License (Ontario or equivalent)
- Minimum 3-5 years of commercial plumbing experience
- Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in carpentry, HVAC systems, welding, and schematics reading
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Experience with construction sites or industrial environments preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving (nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of safety standards related to plumbing, construction, and industrial work environments
- Additional certifications or training License such asWorking at Heights, WHMIS, Lift Training, Fall Protection, Confined Space, etc.)

Pay: $45.00-$51.93 per hour
