job duties include:

making and serving beverages
stocking cooler of beer and other alcoholic beverages
ringing in orders
cashing out vlt tickets and machines
serving customers (must be friendly and have good customer service)
receiving take out orders over the phone
cleaning (washrooms, tables, chairs, floors, etc.)
busting tables

Key Responsibilities
Provide professional, responsive and friendly beverage & food service to members / guests Demonstrate complete and accurate knowledge of the full menu, wine and drink list, dessert menu, and specials
- Be attentive to members’ needs, circulate the room as needed and respond quickly. Always be ready to take food and beverage orders
- Spot opportunities to offer suggestions for beverages, refill empty glasses and up-sell to increase sales
- Use good judgment and discretion when serving alcohol Stock bar with adequate wines, liquor, beer, pop, juices, fruit, glassware, ice , napkins, straws etc
- Handle complaints with professionalism and tact. Take action if possible or escalate to the supervisor
- Maintain a safe and clean bar environment – ensure all glassware and machines are clean, all surfaces are wiped and all equipment is turned off at shift end
- Perform thorough close out procedures, including; clean and stock the bar area, remove all garbage and recyclables
- Follow all Health & Safety policies and F&B procedures & standards
Requirements:
- No past bartending or waitressing experience is needed , but applicant must be eager and fast to learn
- Applicant must be 18 years +
- Applicant must complete the proserve and smart gambling course within 3 weeks after being hired
- Must be reliable, hard working, friendly, honest, and a fast learner.
Dress Code :
- There is no work uniform , or strict dress code. We only ask our employees to look presentable, and put effort into their presentation.
Schedule :
We are looking for 1-3 shifts a week, , Opportunities for more shifts
Shifts mostly consist of night 7pm - closing , but some day shifts (11am-7pm) may be required . Closing depends on how busy the bar is that night . Bar always stays open until at least 12 am Monday - saturday . but if there are customers present you will be expected to stay open later. On Sunday the bar is closed . We try to distribute weekend shifts evenly among all employees.
Time off ? employees must request for time off at least two weeks before the next months schedule is made . Time off may not always be approved
Calling in : if employee is not able to make it to scheduled shift they must find a cover, if they can not find a cover, and it is a serious matter they must notify management to find a solution.
