Requirements:
- Cooking experience, or similar experience; including experience as a Line cook, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook, etc.
- An understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Thorough knowledge of food safety procedures
- Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- A team player with good communication skills
- Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays, as needed
- Training from a culinary school would be an asset, but not required
- Preferably experience with making pizza and/or pasta or willingness to learn
