Now Hiring: Houseperson (Maintenance & Support Role) Slave Lake Inn & Conference Centre
We are looking for a hands-on, reliable, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Houseperson. This is a great position for someone who enjoys fixing things, staying active, and taking pride in their work.
This role is key to keeping our hotel running smoothly — from room checks to small repairs and daily operations support.
What You’ll Do:
- Strip rooms and check for maintenance issues before housekeeping enters
- Handle garbage and recycling removal
- Keep public areas clean and organized
- help with deliveries and stocking
- Perform minor repairs, basic plumbing, and light carpentry/painting
- Assist with snow removal and outdoor upkeep
- Support housekeeping and laundry when needed
- Troubleshoot issues (TVs, phones, doors, etc.)
- Assist with door lock programming, basic networking, and trouble shoot issues.
- Occasionally help with dishwashing
- security through out the property
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone who is mechanically inclined and enjoys problem-solving
- Experience with basic repairs, carpentry, or maintenance
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- strong organisal skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, dependable, and takes pride in doing the job right
- Must be able to provide a criminal record check
- PR or Canadian Citizen
Schedule:
- Morning, afternoon or night shifts.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
