Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly adult Cashier/Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while managing transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will be crucial in creating a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Provide product demonstrations and technical sales support to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing products.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate pricing and change calculations.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
- Familiarity with technology sales or technical products is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
