Leroux Property Maintenance is a full-service property maintenance company, proudly serving Cornwall and the surrounding area since 2009. Our extensive services include commercial snow removal (plowing/salting parking lots, walkways, and off-site removal). Complete summer property maintenance (grass cutting, trimming, bush hogging, parking lot sweeping and clearing). We also offer a wide range of pressure washing services (commercial vehicles/equipment, commercial/residential buildings, gutters, and graffiti removal), as well as kitchen exhaust cleaning, warehouse disinfecting, and other routine cleaning maintenance.
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable Property Maintenance Labourer to join our team for a full-time seasonal (May 1st- October 31st) contract position with opportunity to advance further.
Responsibilities (In-Season):
- Operate and maintain various lawn care equipment, including but not limited to lawnmowers (push, riding, stand up, zero-turn), trimmers, edgers, and leaf blowers.
- Assist with landscaping tasks as needed, such as planting, mulching, litter clean up and weeding.
- Operate pressure washing equipment to clean various surfaces (buildings, sidewalks, heavy equipment, etc.).
- Clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ducts, fans, and filters, according to industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform manual labour and lift heavy objects.
- Reliable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in property maintenance is an asset.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
Note: This position may require weekends, nights and/or early mornings shifts.
