Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various operational tasks across our site, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our projects. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic work environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop hands-on skills and grow within the company.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed
- Support the setup and breakdown of job sites or work areas
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workspaces
- Help with moving supplies, products, or debris throughout the facility or job site
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all team members
- Support team members with various tasks to ensure project deadlines are met
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery after receiving proper training
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in general labour, construction, or manufacturing is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are preferred
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
