Our growing multidisciplinary clinic in central Coquitlam is looking to welcome a driven Kinesiologist or Physiotherapy Assistant to our team. This role combines active rehabilitation delivery with hands-on clinical support and is well suited for someone who enjoys working closely with patients while collaborating alongside multiple healthcare professionals. Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct movement-based screenings and assist in developing individualized active rehabilitation programs
- Guide patients through structured exercise-based rehab sessions
- Progress or adjust exercise programs based on recovery, goals, and physical limitations
- Provide education on posture, ergonomics, movement efficiency, and injury prevention
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards
- Collaborate with physiotherapists to support treatment plans and maintain efficient clinic flow
- Supervise patients performing exercises and prescribed home programs
- Prepare and reset equipment and treatment areas before and after sessions
- Track patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising physiotherapist
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe gym and rehabilitation space
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor of Kinesiology (or equivalent)
- Active registration and good standing with BCAK
- Professional liability insurance
- Previous experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is an asset
- Familiarity with Jane App is considered an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team-based environment
Pay: $25.00-$65.00 per hour
