Job Title: Labourer
Ingimundson Construction Ltd. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Labourer to join our water and sewer crew. This role supports underground infrastructure work, including pipe installation, excavation, grading, and site preparation. You’ll be part of a skilled team focused on delivering high-quality work safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with water and sewer installation, excavation, and grading
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate hand tools and compaction equipment
- Perform shoveling, raking, and general site clean-up
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow direction from site supervisors and collaborate with crew members
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures
Requirements:
- Experience in sewer and water installation and grading is an asset
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials, work outdoors, and stand for long periods
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to learning
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
- Available to work Monday to Friday, with weekends as required
