Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swimming and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate swimmers of all ages and skill levels. This role involves developing training programs, providing instruction, and fostering a positive environment for athletes to improve their skills and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and revise effective training programs tailored to the goals of individual clients of all ages.
- Provide constructive feedback to clients to enhance their performance and confidence in the water.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust training plans as necessary to meet their development goals.
- Build effective rapport with clients.
- Develop independent training plan appropriate to client's skill level.
- Document and report training progress and submit to supervisor.
- Communicate with supervisor and clients about any disruptions to conducting the sessions.
- Commute to client's location and begin sessions in a timely manner.
- Completion of assigned training tasks.
- Completion of additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Must possess a G Driver's License.
- Must have a means of reliable transportation.
- Certification in Standard Aid, CPR-C, Swim Instructor and National Lifeguard or equivalent is mandatory.
- Proven experience in swimming coaching or teaching swimming techniques is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with swimmers of all ages.
- Ability to create a fun and motivating learning environment while maintaining discipline.
Training Rate: $17.60/hour. After completion of training, regular wage starts at $25/hour.
Monthly performance bonuses on top of hourly rate.
