Duties

- Administer medications and oversee medication management to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Perform procedures such as injections, wound care, and basic diagnostic tests using medical terminology accurately.
- Coordinate patient care by collaborating with specialists, home care providers, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize health outcomes.
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Epic and Cerner for accurate documentation, data collection, and medical record management.
- Engage in patient education on health maintenance, chronic disease management, and preventive practices to empower individuals in their wellness journeys.
Experience
- Proven hospital experience providing acute care in fast-paced medical environments.
- Demonstrated research involvement or participation in clinical studies related to family medicine or primary care.
- Experience in pain management techniques and protocols for diverse patient populations.
- Background working with pediatric patients, including routine check-ups and managing childhood illnesses.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and medical office workflows.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in home care settings or community-based healthcare programs is a plus.
