Position Summary:
The Quoting and Billing Specialist will provide direct support in the structuring and pricing of quote inquiries and other such information requests received from customers. The position will also have interactions/sales with clients in our showroom.
Responsibilities:
- Apply accurate costs and pricing guidelines
- Be responsive to customer needs and delivery of quotes
- Work closely with Logistics, Sales, and Service to offer a mutually equitable solution
- Conduct system analysis of both customer and product margins in support of the corporate margin guidelines
- Help in the development and improvement of analytical and pricing tools required to evaluate customer, product sales and margins
- Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage rental billing system.
- Must possess a high level of moral judgment for handling confidential information and monetary transactions.
- Experience in gathering data, compiling the proper information.
- Able to perform moderate to complex account reconciliations.
- Strong diplomatic, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to handle late payments and delinquent accounts.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office 365.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Helping in the showroom with sales and customers.
- Willing to work Occasional Saturday.
Job Knowledge or Work Experience:
- 1+ year experience in a billing or accounting position is an asset.
- 1+ year rental sales experience is an asset.

Education:
We are open to considering candidates with little or no direct experience but technical training or post-secondary diploma or certificate in a related field would be an asset.
