Couture Landscapes is looking to hire experienced Landscape Construction Laborers for long term and permanent employment.
Summary of Position: You will be working in a crew of 2-4 people, and will be working under/with your crew leader to contribute to the completion of landscape and construction projects.
Job Description:
· Working on a variety of both landscape, and construction projects
· Approximately 40 hrs/week with more available
· Perform a variety of landscape work through masonry/stonework, carpentry, sodding, and gardening, along with various other fields
Who we are looking for:
· Self motivated individuals eager to learn
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
· Reliable and punctual
· Capable of working in construction zone in a safe and responsible manner
· Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
· Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
· Must possess a valid G driver’s license
· landscape/construction experience is an asset
· Good oral and written communication skills to work with other employees and trades
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to operate landscape equipment including but not limited to tempers, hand tools, laser levels, measuring equipment, drills, saws, etc...
· Excellent understanding of landscape materials for hardscape and installation procedures
