We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physicians' orders and legal requirements
- Provide expert consultation to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed in collaboration with medical staff
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations
- Maintain detailed records of medication dispensing, patient interactions, and inventory management
- Educate patients on proper medication use, storage, and safety precautions
- Administer medications by injection
- having Additional Prescribing authority (APA) is preferrable.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and medication management practices
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and ensure proper medication administration protocols are followed
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining records
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
