Riverson has optional events for staff throughout the year designed to allow for social time with owners, management, employees, and their families. Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Invoicing Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing invoicing processes, ensuring accurate data entry, and maintaining smooth financial operations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software, customer service skills and strong attention to detail to support our invoicing functions. The Invoicing Clerk plays a vital part in maintaining the integrity of financial records and supporting overall business efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and send invoices using QuickBooks Online accounting software
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
- Perform account reconciliation to verify accuracy of financial data
- Conduct data entry with high precision to update financial records and transaction details
- Analyze account statements for discrepancies and resolve issues through negotiation or communication with clients or vendors
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and related documentation
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks and support month-end closing activities
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries related to billing and payments
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate account analysis and reporting
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks Online or similar
- Experience with the construction industry is an asset - for example, hold backs, sub-contracts, and prompt payment
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping principles
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Analytical skills for account analysis, reconciliation, and problem-solving
- Strong math skills for financial calculations and analysis
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service abilities
- Ability to perform account analysis efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
