Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator specializing in infants and toddlers to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education, with a focus on nurturing and developing young children from birth to three years of age. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment that promotes the holistic development of each child. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering positive relationships with children and families, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and education.
Duties
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curricula tailored to infants and toddlers, encouraging exploration and learning through play.
- Provide attentive care that supports physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in young children.
- Foster effective communication with children using verbal and non-verbal methods suitable for their developmental stages.
- Maintain detailed records of children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones to inform planning and parent communication.
- Collaborate with families to support children's individual needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with licensing regulations.
- Utilize computer skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication with families and team members.
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding assistant staff or volunteers while promoting a positive classroom environment focused on inclusivity and respect.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with infants and toddlers in early childhood education settings.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently while maintaining a nurturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to foster teamwork among staff members.

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
