Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist the dentist during procedures, and ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using Tracker software systems
- Provide patient education on oral health and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and materials used
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including infection control standards
Skills
- Proficiency with dental software Tracker
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Experience in dental assisting, including taking X-rays and preparing treatment areas
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with dental assisting best practices and safety protocols
