Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Window Cleaner to join our facilities maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of windows across various commercial and residential properties. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The Window Cleaner will play a vital role in ensuring our clients’ properties look professional and well-maintained, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Clean windows on commercial and residential buildings using hand tools, squeegees, and power tools as needed
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to window cleaning, including removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Use appropriate cleaning solutions to achieve streak-free, spotless results
- Operate heavy lifting equipment or ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach windows
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs or concerns
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities
Experience
- Prior custodial or custodial experience is preferred, especially in commercial cleaning environments
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment is advantageous
- Experience with facilities maintenance or window cleaning services is a plus
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, including lifting ladders or cleaning equipment
- Previous experience in customer service roles is beneficial for ensuring client satisfaction
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
