Mississauga Stadium & Michael Power Field is currently seeking Part-Time Facility Attendants to assist with the operations of the facility, field and dome. In this role, you will work with the Facility Manager and be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the facility.
This includes ensuring washrooms, change rooms and outdoor field and track areas are clean, functional, and ready for use. This also includes light maintenance duties and support for scheduled user group transitions.
Key Responsibilities
· Clean and sanitize washrooms, change rooms, and other common areas to ensure they are safe and ready for use.
· Maintain the cleanliness of field areas by regularly picking up garbage and debris from the field and emptying garbage and recycling bins.
· Maintain the facility through regular upkeep, minor equipment repairs, and ensuring all areas remain clean, safe, and functional
· Prepare and transition field areas for user groups based on the field schedule and specific requests.
· Maintain a constant presence in the facility during peak hours to ensure facility users are safe and that the facility is used properly.
· Inspect field equipment such as nets, and complete minor repairs or maintenance as needed.
· Support seasonal maintenance tasks to help prepare the facility for changing weather and activity needs.
· Report safety hazards, damage or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor.
· Follow all health and safety protocols and sue cleaning materials and equipment responsibly.
Qualifications
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
· Physically capable of performing manual tasks (e.g., lifting, bending, walking)
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
· Sport background and interest.
· Certifications in First Aid/CPR are assets.
· A clear vulnerable sector check is required.
Hours and Compensation
· This is a part-time, hourly position
· Maximum of 30 hours per week
· Rate is $17.60 - $18.60 per/hour
· Must have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Over-time hours must be approved in advance.
· Opportunities to participate in dome up / down activities at other sports facilities will be made available.
