Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead teams effectively. Duties
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore for project tracking and reporting.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Prepare detailed estimates using tools like HeavyBid for accurate budgeting.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Skills
- Proficient in construction estimating techniques and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Civil 3D for site design and grading plans.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven project management experience with the ability to lead diverse teams.
- Proficient in blueprint reading to understand technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
- Experience using construction management software such as ProCore is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements while maintaining focus on objectives.
