TA Management Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Building Maintenance professional to join our team. As a Building Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for our employees and tenants. This position directly reports to the Chief Engineer and works closely with Special Projects Manager.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of building systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address any issues in a timely manner
- Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or installations
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Assist with the fabrication and installation of various fixtures and equipment
- Capable of troubleshooting problems.
- Must have a mechanical aptitude and handyman skills. Able to solve Tenants’ HVAC calls.
- Familiar with the VAV Pneumatic HVAC system.
- Carry out Tenants’ work orders.
- Performs scheduled maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Must be able to work five days per week. May be asked to do some weekend work if required.
- Works under the direction of the Chief Engineer
- Cover the security desk when necessary
- Trouble shooting and resolving issues with tenants and building management team with parking system.
- Preparing and submitting weekly reports to the Chief Engineer
- Any other requirements assigned by the building management team
Skills and Qualifications
- At least 2 – 5 years experience in building maintenance or related filed
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver License is required
- Power Engineering class 5 certification or better is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical approach
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Willing to learn and taking constructive feedbacks

Pay: $52,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
