Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments with accuracy and integrity
- Provide product information, demonstrations, or upselling opportunities to enhance sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth checkout processes
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Support team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure excellent customer service
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos is advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $17.60 per hour
