A Confined Space Rescue Technician’s main responsibility is to work as a team member during rescue situations and critical tasks.
Confined Space Rescue Technician’s responsibilities
-
Facilitate rescue in the event of an incident
-
Development and communication of site-specific rescue plans
-
Inspect and maintain all rescue equipment on daily basis and complete all applicable documentation
-
Perform atmospheric testing, pre-entry and continuous
-
Ability to follow support hierarchy
-
Ability to work away from home for project duration
-
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment, with a willingness to learn and grow with us

Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
Required qualifications:
-
Current Confined Space Entry & Rescue training is an asset
-
Current First Aid & CRP training is an asset
-
Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
-
Experience running breathing air systems is an asset

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-
Arrive to work clean shaven and fit for duty

Physically fit and able to perform job tasks, ability to maintain professionalism in high pressure situations

Previous experience in a similar role
