What You’ll Do:
As the Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will manage customer accounts, ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
Driving Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding overdue invoices and account discrepancies
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely collections
- Process customer payments, credits, and adjustments accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve issues related to invoicing or payments
- Maintain customer files and documentation in compliance with company policies
- Prepare and distribute aging reports and collection status updates
- Maintain confidentiality of information and handle sensitive data with integrity
- Other ad hoc assignments as required by the Accounting Manager
What You Bring:
- Post secondary diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy within a framework of multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze issues efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and accounting (ERP) software
- Bilingualism and previous experience in Accounts Receivable role are assets
