Flo Pilates is a growing boutique Pilates studio in Whitby dedicated to creating an elevated fitness experience through reformer and mat Pilates classes. We are currently looking for a high-energy, personable, and sales-driven Part-Time Studio Coordinator to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in customer-facing environments, and has a passion for fitness, wellness, hospitality, or sales. As one of the first points of contact for our members, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional client experiences, supporting membership sales, and helping maintain the welcoming community atmosphere Flo Pilates is known for.
The Studio Coordinator position combines customer service, sales, and daily studio operations, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within the health, wellness, and fitness industry.
Duties
- Greet members warmly and deliver exceptional customer service to create a welcoming and positive studio experience
- Build strong relationships with clients and support a community-focused atmosphere within the studio
- Assist prospective and existing members with memberships, class packages, promotions, and studio offerings
- Support membership sales by confidently recommending programs and helping clients find options that best suit their goals
- Manage client check-ins, bookings, and scheduling inquiries using studio software systems
- Handle phone calls and in-person inquiries professionally while providing accurate information regarding classes, memberships, and studio policies
- Process retail purchases and maintain accurate point-of-sale transactions when applicable
- Promote studio merchandise, memberships, and special offers to support overall studio growth and client retention
- Assist with onboarding new members by explaining studio procedures, policies, and expectations before their first visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the studio, including lobby spaces, washrooms, retail areas, and common spaces
- Support opening and closing procedures, including preparing the studio for classes and ensuring the space remains presentable throughout shifts
- Restock supplies, organize inventory, and support merchandising displays as needed
- Monitor overall studio presentation to ensure it reflects Flo Pilates’ brand standards and elevated client experience
- Assist with general administrative and operational tasks to support day-to-day studio operations
- Work independently during assigned shifts while maintaining professionalism, reliability, and strong communication with the studio ownership team
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with clients
- Sales experience or confidence recommending products, memberships, or services is considered a strong asset
- Ability to create a welcoming, energetic, and professional client experience
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative during solo shifts
- Professional verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Comfortable handling memberships, bookings, retail transactions, and general studio operations
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure while resolving client questions or concerns
- Comfortable using booking systems, scheduling software, and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to support sales goals while maintaining a client-first approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing studio needs
- Passion for health, wellness, fitness, or community-focused environments preferred

Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour
