Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery, power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that all products meet our high standards. The Operator will play a crucial role in the production process, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6:30am – 4pm and Friday 6:30am - 10:30am
Responsibilities
- Weighing and loading material for Crushing, milling, sifting, blending.
- Obtaining representative sampling to ensure efficient processing and quality sampling of all materials.
- Load and unload material in furnaces and operate equipment.
- Maintain lot count as well as perform weight validation.
- Ensure all safety procedures for the handling and processing of sweeps lots are followed at all times.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all customer and production materials.
- Liaise with the refining manager when necessary to prioritize lot processing, sweeps documentations and shipments.
- Perform regular 5s and maintain housekeeping as per standards.
Requirements
- The position requires physical demands like Lifting, Carrying, Pushing/ pulling lightweight to very heavy weight work. It also requires communication skill to follow the instructions from superiors.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- This position requires a minimum grade 12 plus & 2 years’ experience required preferably in sweeps environment
- Computer skills required MS Office
- Ability to wear respirator and required PPE
