The Liberal Party of Canada is seeking a Coordinator, National Events to work with the Party’s National Office in Ottawa, joining a dedicated team of staff to support Mark Carney and our Liberal team’s work to keep building Canada Strong.
The Coordinator, National Events will report to the Senior Manager, National Events and support the team responsible for the growth and management of national fundraising events. This role is also responsible for supporting engagement with key fundraising volunteers.

- Assist in written and verbal communications with donors, potential donors, and supporters across the country
- Assist in the compilation of data for various reports
- Event planning and event logistical support (both virtual and in person)
- Organize and coordinate meetings, including virtual meetings or teleconferences, documentation preparation and distribution
- Perform cross-functional duties, as assigned
- University degree or a combination of education, certification, and professional work experience
- Solid judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters
- Strong administrative & organizational skills
- Technical skills; proficient in Excel and Office Suite, as well as CRM tools (experience with Salesforce an asset)
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Proven multi-tasking skills
- Experiences related to event management and communications are an asset
