Journeyman Carpenter Outdoor Specialist
Job description
Responsibilities:
· Framing, install decks, fencing, pergola’s, arbors, privacy screens, planters.
· Concrete form works.
· Operate trade tools, machines and other equipment.
· Instruct and supervise a small crew of labourers documenting time on LMN software.
· Shooting grade and elevations, site layout.
· Material procurement, handling, quality control.
· Onsite safety leadership and documenting on Site Docs software.
Requirements:
· 3 years (or more) of journeyperson carpentry experience.
· Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
· First aid certificate, valid additional construction safety courses an asset.
· Can take direction and manage tasks independently.
· Ability to read blueprints, perform site layout, know grades and elevations.
· Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.
· Hands-on work experience with a wide range of commercial and residential renovation/new build projects.
· Experience working in the construction/building materials industry, preferably with landscaping, interlocking, decking, and lumber materials a strong asset.
· A keen sense of pride in the company, products, and services you represent.
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship.
· Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure with excellent decision making ability and problem solving skills.

Previous experience in construction, carpentry, carpenter, carpenters assistant, finish carpenter, concrete formworks, cribbing, concrete, concrete finisher, landscaping, labour, general labour, skilled labour, masonry, brick layer, stone work, stone mason, renovations, handyman, roofing, framing, fencing, farming, equipment, equipment operator, equipment maintenance, equipment moving, horticulture, tree planting, load & unload, irrigation, moving, excavation, bobcat, skid steer, mini dig, truck and trailer, swamping, warehouse, industrial, steel worker, tradesman, is an asset.
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour, overtime and benefit package.
